Do I need a subscription to use it?

No. The core features work without a subscription. We also offer a Pro plan with additional features, available at $9.90 per month.

When will I receive the final product?

We plan to start global shipping in September 2026. Delivery times will vary by location, but we’ll share more details closer to launch.

Which countries do you sell to?

At launch, we plan to support shipping and after-sales service in the USA, UK, and EU.

Do you have a beta testing programme I can join?

Does it record all the time? How is my privacy protected?

No. Recording only starts when you trigger it. Your data is protected with end-to-end encryption. We follow established privacy standards and certifications to keep your information secure.

Where is my data stored? Is it used for AI training?

Audio is stored on the device, while text is stored securely in the cloud. Your data is private and used only to organise and manage your notes. It is not used to train AI without your permission.

What operating systems does Spark Ring support?

Spark Ring works with iOS 15 and above, and Android 10.0 and above.

How long does the battery last? Does it need frequent charging?

Spark supports up to 8 hours of continuous recording. With typical use, you’ll only need to charge it every 3–4 days. A full charge takes around 30 minutes.

Do I need to use it with an app? Can it work without my phone?

Spark Ring works with a companion app, where your recordings are stored and organised. You can still record without your phone for up to 45 minutes. Once you reconnect via bluetooth, your recordings sync automatically to the app and clear from the ring’s local storage.

What happens if I lose my ring? Can someone access my recordings?

No. Recordings on the ring can only be transferred to a paired app. They can’t be accessed, shared, or read by someone else.

How accurate is voice recognition? What languages are supported?

Spark delivers over 95% transcription accuracy in typical conditions. It supports up to 119 languages, so you can record and review notes in the language you’re most comfortable with.

Can I delete or undo a recording?

Yes. You can choose to dismiss or mark a note as done in the app, and it will be removed along with the related data. You can also delete the original audio recording at any time.

Can it control my smart home devices?

Not at the moment. Spark Ring doesn’t support controlling other smart devices yet.

Does it support third-party calendar sync (e.g. Google Calendar or Outlook)?

Yes, with the Pro version. Spark Ring can sync with third-party calendars like Google Calendar and Outlook, so your reminders and events stay in one place.

Can I share information with other Spark Ring users, such as calendar sync?

Not yet, but you can send notes or information to others—for example, by sharing via email with a single tap.

Does Spark Ring record everything around me, or can it focus on specific people?

Spark picks up sound within a range of around 3–5 metres when you choose to record. It doesn’t target specific individuals. Instead, it captures the surrounding audio and uses its AI to identify and surface the most relevant information.
